No Technology, No Way!
Since technology got into our world, it has made our work and life much easier. But definitely, humans lately depend on it a lot of. However, what would it happen if people did not count on it? Someway, our life would be affected if this tool were absent. Internet and technology are very unique that have changed entertainment and Education.
First of all, Internet and Technology are very useful when performing tasks in jobs. Every worksheet is printed. Obviously, a printer which is a part of technology does it. Otherwise, workers would have to write all documents by hand. Life would be impossible without internet and technology since marketing nowadays is digital marketing. Life is impossible without parents, friends, and relationships many would tell you. But the reality is most people cannot live without their families and whether they would want to admit to it or not, without modern technologies as well.
Another area of our life influenced by technology is education. With a computer and internet, there is no need to go out of home. A research is easy be done and many opinions from many experts easy to find. Thus, a research would is rich in knowledge. Technology is an increasingly important aspect of modern school life and has dramatically changed the way teachers and students do their daily activities.
Besides these aspects above, entertainment would be different without technology. For example, watching HD movie is great, but without technology it would be impossible. The world has changed, we forget about meeting up with friends to go to the theater or cinemas, we can now communicate via Facebook, Skype and mobile phone and it is normal to us. In fact we can know more about the Coliseum in Rome, than a person living next to it. Modern appliances and technologies make us all-instant experts with literally a world of knowledge at our finger tips.
In conclusion, without technology, our life would look different because it is already part of us. We could not live without it. In general, technology and internet are present in almost any area in society such as entertainment, education and jobs. Indeed, human beings with technology resources are a great combination. For this reason, human being and technology are one.

Unit 8 Goodbye to the Sit-Down Meal
As many know over the years the world and the way of living and eating have changed a lot, perhaps many years ago there were very few restaurants where the food is prepared with much more time and was much healthier, however times have changed and the high demand for fast food restaurants have grown worldwide, so that people do not mind making healthy food at home, much less sit down to a family meal. This has made the family union dinner is already almost completely extinct by the children, or the parents themselves eat at a fast food restaurant or just buy food and sit down to watch t.v instead of sitting live at the table during dinner. So we must make a stop to this situation so that society not only undergo this type of problem where fast foods are everything, not only by the lack of family life, but given the sedentary today and people are facing the XXI century disease that is the "Obesity", why should eat healthy, exercise and try to consume water many times a day to avoid reaching a situation that is out of control, not knowing master or face all those facilities that we have in choosing our food.
What´s the Use of the Homework?
In any time of our lives, we have been given homework to do at home. Homework refers to tasks assigned to students by their teachers to be completed at home. Also, homework can be given in universities and other kinds of learning centers. Basically, there are three reasons why homework is assigned to students. To improve students’ skills. To do research. To reinforce the subject-matter information that has been studied in class.
Student learning improves when homework serves a clear purpose and is matched to both the skills of each individual student and to the current topics being taught in class. This is the real reason to make students be better when collecting information and applyins it to their classes. Teachers can this effective tool to improve knowledge from class. A good way of implementing this tool is to communicate to the parents about the homework assigned. Thus, students will learn more quickly.
Researchins is very important in the learning process and an efficient way to take advantage of homework and research is to combine them. A teacher can give an assignment to his/her students; then, they ought to hand in that homework in certain time, for example two weeks. The basic objectives of assigning homework to students are the same as to increase the knowledge and improve their abilities and skills.
When a teacher gives classes and does not have the time enough to complete information about certain subject-matter, some homework assigned can be a great support because in certain way, students finishing to see the subject at home and increase the knowledge. So this is an advantage homework has. Also, with technological advances, teachers use the web in order to spread information, so that the web is useful for teachers to post assignments on-line for students, and to keep parents informed.

Today life happens as there are people who are more powerful than others, such as the celebrities who make millions of dollars a month while an average normal family just wanted to survive. But we are in a time when poverty is one of the major problems facing the world, so every day there are people with good hearts who are bent on creating nonprofit organizations where the only goal is to help neediest people who for one reason or another are affected by this global issue is poverty. As I mentioned before there are many celebrities who earn very well and that they have a very sensitive heart and help these people in need by donating money per month to cover food, clothing, and shelter. Not everyone has the opportunity to work for a living so I think that however small the contribution we help those most in need, does not just do it because I really want and leave the goodness of our hearts

Life is a series of stages through which every one of us should go, so in any of these stages will be invisible to anyone and we should learn from childhood that one day we will be old and that respect we owe to these people is infinite and we must be loving, caring and respectful to them to touch the day we get there we treat our children the same way.
Should people pass stricter laws to protect endangered species
Should people pass tougher laws to protect endangered species? I think that every day the environment is being affected by the actions that humans do. For example, the construction of buildings in areas where there are birds living. This could cause birds to disappear. Their nests may disappear too. However, the immigration can take place to other places. That is why people ought to adopt new and stricter laws in order to preserve animals life.
All living animals have rights and are not the exception but a major and fundamental is live so no being should be extinct just because we want, and animals should not be objects of humans to disappear. These days, technology offers many advances. This causes that life on Earth to be more overwhelming. As a consequence, people’s expectations can change. For instance, people would rather live in luxurious places. Living in those places would cause us to live away from nature. Human being would be bound to live around the walls. All of this is related to the fact that human being kills the place where birds are living. Sometimes, people don’t realize that damage that is provoking. An example is the leatherback turtle spawning beaches of our country; on the one hand there are people who are dedicated to protecting their eggs, while others are stolen for trade.
For this and more is that we should and we must preserve the planet's species from disappearing from nothing and not feel guilty that we ourselves are destroying the beauty that God gave us the power to breathe in a free zone feel the song free bird and feel free. So we must come together as people committed to nature and conservation campaigns and animal species that are endangered are protected by ourselves and so we know that extinction is not as long as people still believe how beautiful it is nature and how accurate are their exotics.
We must also take into account that we are being selfish allowing animals are disappearing can not know our future generations as we have known, and more reasons for this is that we must put an end to the situation that many species live today day and try to make agreements with the policy so that not only puts the animals as a priority but as one of the reasons why we must fight, for the children of the future have the privilege of knowing him live and in color and only photos and magazines but they know their value by living things smaller than they are.
In conclusion, I think that the rulers of this country should take new and different actions. There are species that keep on dying and the rulers can stop this situation. In addition to this, there are people that kill animals and they are aware of this damage. For this reason, the punishment must include jail. It would be a good idea that government becomes conscious people in order to preserve animals.

As life
goes by and the years we're running people more involved with technology and
thus being able to deal with what technology will bring. But we are not the
only living things that life the gift of understanding, there are also some
animals have a highly developed brain and allows them to function in a more
complex living humans. Today there are many animals to which he excels the gift
of performing activities which are not used for this are called intelligent
animals.
Sleep Deprivation
Do we have a reason to deprive sleeping? Is it a bad habit that we adapt as life moves
so quickly? Meanwhile, there are people who study or work and they dont sleep enough;
we sleep a few hours in order to stand during the day. Sleeping 8 hours is
recommended by the specialists, but are we really sleeping those hours? But the
question is if it really affects us the fact that we don’t sleep enough? So there are certain factors related to sleeping’s
such as benefits, problems, and recommendations we must take into account
When people study and work every day, they usually
forget that sleeping eight hours is a need for their body. Sleeping eight hours is recommended by the
doctors. In addition to that, it is very healthy to sleep that quantity of
hours. This will help our mood is good when we get up and so
do our routine activities in the best way and with the encouragement needed to
make our day a happy day
However, there are many people who don’t follow this
advice because they have some lack of time. This is a problem because people
can suffer from diseases that deteriorate their health. The lack of sleeping
could have different repercussions such as tireness and concentration problems.
According to the specialists, if a person does not sleep eight hours, she/he
could be working perfectly, which is not healthy for their mind. Also, being alert
affected during the day.
There are many theories that prove that sleeping a short time is
harmless for the mind and its functions.
One of them states that we need to sleep because our nervous system and
the body in general, need to recover from the wear that occurs in daily
activity, which is very logical, but also we have to get some rest to keep on
working as usual. Nevertheless, there is another theory that affirms that when
we sleep, we are recovering energy, which helps us react to any sudden event as
fast as possible. Sleeping eight hours is necessary to be able to face this
kind of problem. (Huneker, 2001)
What is really true is that we must sleep when our
bodies require it. Also, we must take into account that sleep deprivation can
be harmful to any person. For these reasons, it is important to consider that
we have to sleep well all the time that we can.
We must also get involved performing a routine where you exercise, eat
healthy, have a healthy social life where we should share not only with friends
but also with the loved ones we love for these in trouble give us a hug filled
hope so we can deliver stress overwhelms us unable to sleep well at times.(Carroll,1995)
Unit 3 Early to Bed, Early to Rise
As the saying goes "the early bird, God helps" many we rely on this saying to God every day to take care of us and bless awakening to start a new day. So we know that bed early is one of the fundamental right to rest, to relax the body after a day of work, stress and other everyday intentions. Also if we be ordered to rest when we avoid those terrible bouts of insomnia that often happens to many and they do not know how to control this disorder so it will cause problems, psychological, and physical in most of the time.
The Blind Side
Why do I consider The Blind Side important,
interesting, and very human? I think this movie has caught my attention more
than other movies have done it. Movie has social topic in which a family of
white ethnicity helps a black ethnicity, giving him shelter, home and the
chance to work for his future. In this movie, it is possible to see a global
problem, which is racism. This movie shows this problem in the same way the
world shows. Also, it is possible to see a family that decides to help someone
who is going through this experience. One of the most important situations that
this movie presents is that it is possible to find a family that is willing to
help a boy in need without taking into account the ideology or color. The love,
solidarity and support of a family to help an unknown person, Michael Oher.
For some thinkers, love is the
biggest feeling that a human being could experience. In this movie, a family
shows that love for someone who was in need. Yet, when the rest thinks that
there is no chance for Michael Oher, this family saw something different in
him, which motivated them to support to that boy. The Blind Side shows it can
be feasible to help some like Michael. Everybody needs a second chance without taking
into account the color, social status.
Solidarity is a nice feature of
this family. The whole support that this got from this family was astonishing
because his foster parents decided to help him without expecting something in
return. The will turned out to be bigger that any other material interest. One
of the more surprising parts in this movie is that Michael accepted the help
with no additional interest. The result of this help was great because Michael
was able to overcome and learn to face some obstacles in his life.
In life, a teenager is able to
overcome any obstacle. The family is the nucleus of love. The family works as a
big support when facing complicated and difficult situations. The strongest
bond to stand any difficult situation is to count on a family. Michael, for
sure, realized that and saw the support of his family as a great opportunity to
go ahead.
In my opinion, I think that this movie is very
interesting because racism is too evident in some countries. The Blind Side
tries to minimize this problem. The example of a supporting family is touching
for who see this movie. The fostering mother did not care about the color and
she helped him accomplish his great dream to be a professional American football
player.
Unit 2 The Achiles Heel
For many,
the "normal" birth is a matter of right, with a healthy body where
all our limbs and organs are healthy and well formed, with no clutch not
everyone has the privilege God gives us just born. Today the populations of people
with disabilities formerly called “disabled” are much braver than a
"normal" because they cling to their physical difference to stand out
from other people and show the world that we are all equal to God made with the
same intellectual capacity and unique strengths as individuals. For this and
more fondly I admire all those people who perhaps are not physically equal to

Essay 1 Information Overload
Technology is one of the biggest human being`s invention, which has been changing lifestyles all over the world. Although it has brought many advantages, the constant usage of it has been getting out of control because of the overloaded information. Wasting time, having physical problems, and experiencing emotional disorders.
Today we believe that people are wasting their time because the information overload is making people so much information there is to doubt the topic you want to know or investigate. TV, the internet and other media they do is confuse rather than solve what we really want to know.
This also leads us not only to have a very high stress, but we also generates large physical problems by the example which afflicts many workers today is back pain, migraine, stress and many other everyday factors that affect health.
The emotional part might be affected too. Concentration is an essential part in our lives. If a person uses some technological devices a lot of time, it is probable that his/her mind starts to get used to such routine. This will cause the person to think about spending time alone with that device. For instance, a smart-phone in hands of a teenager can provoke “excessive entertainment”. Insomnia is a very common disorder at that age. Nevertheless, it is important to be aware of what technology can do in our emotional life. However, this kind of problems can be reduced.
Technology plays a very important role in the learning process. To understand this, it is essential to mention progresses such as the incorporation of the Braille in computers. Blind people, in the past, could write in a computer because these machines did not count on this advance. These days, for blind people, it is not a problem to develop as humans in the work world. Because of this problem, sometimes, it was almost impossible to get a job for them. To include, technology can influence on people’s life in a bad or good way. The important thing is to learn how to use for education purposes.
